Your account
A SeasonKit account gives donors and guardians one place to review giving history, refund options, recurring donations, and their family's payments. The account should use the email address connected to your receipts or invitations.
Donor portal overview
The donor portal is organized around Donations, Refunds, and Recurring. It is designed so donors can find their own history without seeing another donor's activity or private team finance records.
Donations shows claimed giving history and receipt links. Refunds shows eligible refund request options and request status. Recurring shows active monthly donations and the path to manage them securely.
Guest donations do not appear in the portal until the donor claims them from the receipt email link.
Claiming a receipt
If you donated as a guest, open the receipt email and use the claim link. SeasonKit will ask you to sign in or create an account, then connect that receipt to your donor history.
Claiming a receipt does not change the amount, organization, tax language, or issue date. It only connects the receipt to your signed-in account.
If the claim link does not work, contact the organization with the donor email, campaign name, payment date, and receipt information.
Managing recurring donations
Recurring donations are managed through secure payment screens for the organization that received the donation. This lets you update payment methods, cancel, or review your monthly donation without sending card information to the team.
Each monthly donation may have its own link because it belongs to a specific organization account.
If you cannot find a recurring donation, make sure you are signed in with the same email address used at checkout.
Signing in across browsers
If you sign in on a new browser or device, SeasonKit may ask you to authenticate again. Use the same email address to keep donations, receipts, and family records connected.
Browser privacy settings, private browsing windows, and cleared storage can sign you out. This does not delete your receipts or donations.
If you manage both team tasks and personal donations, your account may show different areas depending on your role. Role checks protect organization records, donor anonymity, guardian access, and family payments.
Login email, sign-in methods, and profile contact details
Use Send set/reset link on the sign-in screen or Send set/reset password email in account settings to recover, rotate, or add password sign-in for your login email. SeasonKit does not collect or store raw passwords.
Account settings shows whether Google, email and password, or both are connected. Google changes are handled through support until SeasonKit can safely offer that action in self-service.
Account settings lets you update the SeasonKit profile name and phone number used for support and organization coordination. Those profile details are separate from your login email, guardian records, role memberships, receipts, and billing records.
To change your login email, open account settings, enter the new email address, and confirm the link sent to the new inbox. Keep using your current login email until the new one is verified.
If you no longer have access to your current email or there are account ownership concerns, contact support before creating a duplicate account for the same role.
When to contact the team
Account troubleshooting checklist
Most account questions come down to the email address, the receipt claim link, or browser session state. Check those first before assuming data is missing.
- Confirm you are using the same email address used at checkout.
- Check whether the donation was a guest donation that still needs to be claimed.
- Open the latest receipt email and use the claim link if one is available.
- Try a normal browser window if private browsing keeps signing you out.
- Ask the organization to confirm the campaign and payment date if a receipt is hard to find.
- Use the secure payment management screens for recurring payment method changes.
Privacy expectations
Your account should show your own donor activity and the team access for your role. It should not expose another family's balances, another donor's private giving history, or internal safety records.
If you see information that does not look like it belongs to you, stop and contact the organization. Do not forward private account screenshots to a group thread.
If you share a device with another donor or guardian, sign out after you finish reviewing receipts or family payment details.
If you use multiple email addresses, pick one for SeasonKit activity and ask the organization before creating duplicate accounts for the same role.
Account access is meant to make self-service easier, not to replace direct organization support for policy decisions.
Use the account history as the starting point when you contact the team about a donation or refund.
It gives both sides the same receipt and campaign details.
